National Coordinators

To support the implementation of its strategic plan, SICI requested that each member organization identifies a ‘national coordinator’. The national coordinator will play an important role as part of SICI. The National Coordinators act as the main point of contact and coordinate communications between SICI and their own organization. They collect and submit information about their organization’s work to SICI as appropriate. They can share with their organization information about new SICI projects and promote links between their organization and other SICI members interested in similar projects. They can submit proposals for collaborative projects, promote the work of their organization and support sharing of practice across other SICI members. The national coordinator can also suggest ways their organization can be involved in SICI activities to the benefit of their organization. A meeting of all national coordinators is organised every year, together with the general assembly of SICI.
